A Silver Milestone
When love endures the test of time, it deserves to be celebrated with glory and grace with everyone that has been a part of this eventful journey. On the beautiful evening of April 16th, The Hashtag Hype Events had the honor of creating a magical evening to celebrate the love and laughter shared between Cheluvaraj and Shobha for 25 wonderful years!
The evening was a beautiful surprise planned by their son and daughter to raise a toast to the unbreakable bond shared by their parents. From the moment we sat down with the son and daughter, we could see the admiration they shared for their parents and their determination to make the day their parents came together 25 years ago, a grand celebration filled with love, laughter and joy!
The Theme and Decor
At The Hashtag Hype Events, we specialize in turning milestones into magical moments. When our clients told us they wanted an evening that reflected elegance, timelessness, and warmth, our team worked closely with them to transform this vision into a breath-taking reality. We chose a classic yet elegant colour palette of black and white with the help of soft golden lighting across the venue to give it a grand look. Every decorative element was strategically planned and placed to create an enchanting ambience.
Where the magic happens
The crowd experience started off with everyone walking through an entrance designed to set a standard for the rest of the experience. A beautiful arch adorned with lush pink and white blossoms and a black carpet alongside several white flower arrangements. This entrance set the tone for the event and promised the crowd an elegant night to look forward to.
The venue was completely transformed to fit the theme of elegance. We added a customised ceiling with cascading white flowers to give it a floating effect along with delicate fairy lights that added the touch of a starry night sky. This added onto the elegant ambience that was set that night. To complement the starry night sky with cascading flowers, the tables and chairs were covered in sleek black covers adding a touch of opulence.
The theme of elegance was continued across the seating area by placing centrepieces of white roses and hydrangeas on the tables. Nestled among these eye-catching centrepieces were dozens of candles whose flickering flame adding a warm and classy effect. Adding onto this effect, the pillars near the seating area were each draped in soft fairy lights making the night seem more magical.
The attention of the guests was drawn to the brightly illuminated stage which served as the epicentre of the wondrous celebration. Our team created a customised design to suit the ambience of the evening with a floral like backdrop that glowed from within featuring an intricate yet delicate pattern that gave the touch of elegance. This lustrous design piqued the interest of everyone at the venue while simultaneously providing the perfect picturesque setting to ensure that all eyes were on Cheluvaraj and Shobha during their special evening and the perfect backdrop to digitally capture memories.
To add an interactive touch to the night, a photo booth was thoughtfully placed beside the main stage to complement the elegant aesthetic. The booth was outlined with a gold LED light which bounced off the silver sheets placed inside the booth and radiated a beautiful glow that drew guests in. It was decorated with reflective chrome balloons that floated above, the numbers “25” displayed inside to signify the milestone that was being celebrated that day and adding a personalised touch in the photographs. This shimmering silver booth served as a “red carpet” for the evening.
Every small detail was designed in a way where even the smallest candle or the brightest backdrop were all well coordinated so show the whole picture of elegance.
Dressed to impress
For the 25th anniversary of Cheluvaraj and Shobha, the ambience was uplifted by a dress code that was curated to complement the evening’s theme. Men arrived in classic black and white, looking sharp in their suits and timeless tuxedos showcasing a unified elegance across the room. To contrast the look of men, women arrived in radiant shades of red, adding a pop of colour that complemented the colour palette and added warmth and luxury to the event.
The idea behind this was to make the guests feel inclusive in the experience. As the guests conversed under the ethereal lighting and flora, they became a living element of the decor. The result was an environment of class and elegance.
Unforgettable memories
The evening was filled with unforgettable moments. As the event was a surprise for the couple, everybody was anticipating their reaction to this grand celebration. The couple made a grand entrance in their car, accompanied by their children and their dogs. The moment the couple passed through the entrance, pyrotechnics erupted which illuminated the entrance and perfectly captures the wonder and joy on their faces.
The celebration continued with a live band performance that filled the air with nostalgia. Beloved family and friends of the couple raised toasts and shared stories to mark this wonderful day. One of the stunning moments was the projection mapped cake cutting ceremony, where pictures of the couple were displayed along with wishes making a mandatory celebration ritual into an innovative display of artistry. Simultaneously, the guest favourite photobooth was allowing guests to take a souvenir for the night with their photos instantly printed and placed inside wooden frames.
The venue was filled with awe and warmth as they witnessed the couple share a dance. This was soon followed by their family and friends sharing the stage to be a part of this celebration.
Spontaneous performances with friends singing and dancing, the bar counter where laughter echoed, and every authentic conversation altogether created an atmosphere filled with warmth, joy and laughter.
